We are always looking for Investors to help fund our Studio, especially at the stage we are in now.  If you are someone who has an interest in being a Part of a Video Game Company, but maybe all you can give is a financial help, we are made for each other.  Algitt needs to find a financial backing to start taking on larger projects, without your help we will not be able to work on Bigger and better things, and expand to new platforms.

Q. What kinds of products do you plan on making?

 

A.  Algitt Studios LLC is a Video Game Development Studio, first and formost.  We plan on making Video Games for Online Distribution (Steam, Direct2Drive, and BigFish), Consoles (Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, and PlayStation 3), Portable Systems (iPod and Nintendo DS), and Computers (PC and Mac).

 

 

Q. Has your team worked on any finished Games?

 

A.  Yes!  Members of this team have worked on several Games.  Some have worked on Algitt's first game, ManaGen.  Along with titles at DigiPen, including Oneiro, Brutal Beatdown, Panic, Hooligans, and more.

 

 

Q. We don't see a very big Market in 2D Games, are you working on big "Blockbuster" titles?

 

A.  We believe that there is still a huge market for 2D games!  Casual games are selling better than they ever have, and the Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network have brought "old school" styled 2D games back to the forefront of gaming, like Geometry Wars and Castle Crashers. 

 

BUT, that said, we agree, that blockbusters have to be 3D titles, and Warlord Kingdoms is our first big title.  WK will try to reinvigorate the traditional RTS genre, that has slowly been leaving its old standards behind, by bringing basebuilding back to importance, and allowing you to control the pace on a much bigger scale.  We also have a timeline of games, that include us attempting a true "Blockbuster" in the future, if you are seriously interested in hearing about this title, feel free to contact Stephen directly, stephen@algittstudios.com

 

 

Q. What would our funding be put toward?

 

A.  Any funding would go toward our games instantly.  Purchasing software, hardware, hiring on staff members, and renting out a suitable location.  This would give us more licenses of the engines we use, and the kits we use.  Funding would go into the Warlord Kingdoms property, where the staffs focus would be centered.

 

 

Q. How do you plan to expand?

 

A. We have lots of options to expand, that really depends on our products success and your funding.  We can begin working on Xbox Live Arcade games, at the same time that we work on our "Main" titles, allowing us to release more games per year than an Indie study usually can.  We also would also schedule a small team to work on Expansions and Added content for our main titles after they release, allowing the team to go through a full games' production cycle, while an expansion is released in between it.  We could even move into having an internal Animation studio (the cinematic kind).  There are alot of possibilities, but they all depend on you.

 

 

Q. When would I be able to see a return on my investment?

 

A.  You would be able to start to see a return on your initial investment, the moment we release Warlord Kingdoms (2010).  We can release some small Casual styled games, to help speed up your return if need be as well.  Because we plan on releasing several games a year, you would constantly see an influx of money, hopefully bringing your return to you faster than a one game company.
